Our sample room has over 1000 wallpaper and fabric books, including suppliers like Romo, Linwood, Harlequin, Zoffany and Jab. Our carpet suppliers are diverse too- including wool twists and velvets, stripe carpets, leather and custom dyed.

We also make couches and wood furniture to order,Jan Cavelle have an amazing range of tables, chairs, sideboards in over 60 different finishes. You can have a couch or corner group custom made and with a choice of hundreds of fabrics.

If you need help putting it altogether, we are here to assist. It's true to say many of our customers prefer us to interpret their requirements and put the design together.

The Alexandria is a French style collection made from solid mahogany. The bedstead has hand woven/ hand carved cane detail.

The collection is available in silver leaf, antique ivory and ebony.

There are some leanings in terms of Design Trends out there,previous blog still accurate, but before we get there- there's the prep!

1. De clutter.This could mean ebaying items you don't need, giving away furniture or household items to charity, shredding 20 year old bank statements- or even asking the family not to take over the whole house with their stuff!

2.Look at what's left and have a plan. A new decade is always seen as a greater kick to new beginnings. Take one room at a time and decide what needs to be done to provide better homelife. Have the kids outgrown their rooms, embarrassed by kiddy wallpaper from maybe even only 2 years ago- but doesn't suit their lives now?

3. Make do and mend. Re upholster sofa or chair, recover dining chairs, make a padded headboard, paint a piece of furniture. It's amazing how much positive effect any of the above will have on transforming a space.
